■ Closed and low ceiling Design

Rubbertex provides flexible design to the low ceiling buildings, such as the officebuilding, department. In order to save the space and increase the aesthetics, there aretwo types for the main air duct and branch duct, one is round series and the other isflat series.Rubbertex ductwork system contains various of air dispersion models, such as airdiffuser, vent, air outlet, nozzle and orifice, to meet the personalized demand andeffectively save the running cost of the HVAC system.

■ Open and high ceiling Design

The unique cable suspention style, flexible vent design and various colors of Rubbertex, is the best choice to the HVAC ductwork system in large space buildings. To save the space and increase the aesthetics in low and small space buildings with closed ceiling, we recommended to lay out the wall, beam and column. For the large space buildings with open and high ceiling, the design of Rubbertex is much simpler. To improve the air dispersion and increase the aesthetics, straight ducts with different diameters of Rubbertex can solves different problems in the HVAC ductwork system.

Selecting the shape of Rubbertex AD system is based on the demands of client and the real application requirements. Rubbertex AD are available in Round, Flat.Round Shape .The round shape is mainly applied to the architecture with high and large space, such as large factory, gymnasium, railway station and airport terminal. This series are alsosuitable to the branch duct with small diameter in complicated HVAC system.

Flat Shape

Generally speaking, the flat shape is suitable to the buildings with low and short space (hospital, office building, supermarket , halls and guesthouses ). It is mainly applied
as the main duct with large diameter and large air volume carried.

■ Color Design

Rubbertex AD provides custom colors without an additional cost, or longer delivery time. We can completely meet requirements of customer to maintain harmony between the ductwork and the environment

 Size / Dimension Design

There are several duct sizing methods: velocity method, equal friction method, static regain method and optimization method. Rubbertex chooses Velocity Method.
Calculation equation: g=3600v.π.D2/4  Where g: air volume per ductwor V: inlet air velocity, m/s2  D: system ductwork diameter

The velocity limits can safely be set at the following values to limit flow generated noise and frictional resistance: Main duct: 11 m/s Branch duct (horizontal): 9 m/s
Branch duct (vertical): 8 m/s  Outlet branch: 5 m/s

Insulation Desig

The permeability of ductwork is not considered in the Rubbertex ductwork system, because of the good performance of insulating. In order to effectively avoid the condensation, achieve the required heat loss values and save the cost, selecting the correct insulation material thickness for a specified application is of the utmost importance. Rubbertex chooses economic insulation thickness calculation method to reduce energy consumption, and saves the investment objective. With our insulation layer thickness calculator you are able to compare online and alternatively an economic insulation layer thickness.There are 06mm, 09mm, 13mm, 19mm and 25mm of the thickness for you to choose, other thicknesses can be customized.

Inlet Connection

The through-wall component with a critical length and diameter according to the air volume and the thicknessof the wall,connected with the air duct at the ends,sealed well with insulating and sealing gasket and insulating 

Through-wall component

The zipper is of globally-renowned ,high strength and high tightness,ensures the whole air duct good performance of sealing with the double protection insulating and sealing gasket.

End combination

The end combination, joined with duct by zipper, easier to change for washing or extending, improves the of the whole ductwork system.

Elbow

The elbow consists of multiple gores, different bending radius, angles and diameters, meets special requirements of customers.

Reducer

Reducers include concentric reducers and eccentric reducers with different diameters and shapes, meets all kinds of duct connection.

Tee connector

Spherical Nozzle

When the supply air temperature is lower the indoor dewpoint , the suitable nozzle not only avoid the condensation, but also avoid the feeling from air draft to provide comfortable indoor environment. The Rubbertex AD spherical nozzles is suitable are used for preference where the supply air from the diffuser has to travel a large distance to the occupied zone. This is the case in large rooms (Hotel reception areas, Shopping Arcades, Museums, Sports Centers and Departmental Stores, Conference and exhibitions, Airport Terminal Buildings etc.) The pivoting movement of the nozzle can be easily adjusted manually to suit particular on site conditions, also meet requirements for use in heating or cooling situations within the range of ± 30°

Flexible Fabric Nozzles
